Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

Will someone who has received the new software upgrade please post the version number and the date. Using the 02468 technique I am getting no results. The receiver doesn't appear to be searching for new software and I end up with the same old OX6BD version dated 4/20.

I called DirecTV and they reported that the newest version was only available to the Pacific time zone, and that all software upgrades were issued by time zone.
