Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

After a couple calls to Directv 0x6d8 was pushed out. I have confirmed that it solved the resetting issue when starting a DVR with no Sat signal. I am now testing to see if it will go pasts 12 hrs with no Sat signal.
