Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

I received the update d8 on 6/18 and unplugged receiver and dish and rebooted last night. I watched recorded movie on dvr last for four hounds and turned back on about 14 hours later a watched recorded movie for two hours. Thanks to everyone who spent time with direct tv to get. The software update. Sky
