apparently this far north they use a different satellite for local channels. My system isn't working with that satellite. So, short answer is no local channels. Couldn't get the local Fox affiliate so I ended up at the club house for the game.
Turned out not to be an emergency. We got our b**** handed to us. Oh well, Cards played some great football this year. Cam and crew sure looked like the real deal. I suspect Denver is in for a tough Super Bowl.

Interesting. I have no problem switching my DISH service over to locals when I travel to Arizona. Guess DirecTV handles it differently ..... Curious - cpd520 - where are you staying in Florence that you could not get the local Channel 34? I live here.
