DirecTV has an aggreement, I think with Exceed, to provide 2-way Satellite internet.. However it is different birds (Satellites) and it's "Spot Beamed" so it is not suitable for RV use,,,, Great for a sticks and bricks way out in the stciks though,, Exceed has some very good bandwidths if you are willing to pay for 'em. Since this was the OP's original question "Is it possible to get internet via a directv satellite? " The answer actually is a simple Yes or No and No was the correct answer whether he meant DirecTV satellite or DirecTV antenna.
