DirecTv on single LNB dish
Can I run a DirecTv HD HR34 receiver on a single LNB dish? I've found where I can select a 18" round dish, but it is looking for the SWM--which the dish doesn't have.

A lot of confusing info above. The HR34 is SWM only so the suggestion directly above will not work. You can use your 18" round antenna with the Genie but you will also need to add a SWM8 kit to the mix. You will also only receive the DirecTV SDTV programming while using that setup.
The SWM8 switch will also require the PI28 or PI29 (power inserter) and not the black power inserter used in your home setup.
