Cheer up! I heard on the news this morning that AT&T is buying out Direct TV. It would make AT&T the largest media provider on the planet!
So, any discounts you have will probably go away anyway. So..... now is the time to switch to DISH! We switched to DISH over a year ago, because Direct was nickle and diming us to death, only, like you, it was $5.00 here, $10.00 there ... and our bill was right at $100 a month for absolute bare basic service! We switched! Been happier ever since!
Either one of these mergers needs FCC and FTC approval, and after being burned by Sirius-XM, I suspect their radar will be on.
