If you want HD on the inside and the outside TV's you will need to move a receiver. That's what I do and find it to be easier anyway as I don't watch TV outside very often. If you do want to watch the programming from 1 receiver on 2 TV's you still may not need a splitter (assuming HD) as you will connect the receiver to the inside TV with an HDMI cable and you run a coax from the same receiver to the outside TV and watch TV outside in SD only. The receiver will need an RF modulator as the HD receivers don't have a coax output. If you want HD inside and out you would need to run a 2nd HDMI cable from the receiver to the outside TV and then you need to add a HDMI switch (or splitter) to take the single HDMI output and send it to 2 TV's.
