So the current installed software version is 0x97f, but it keeps trying to download it again? My suggestion would be to go to menu->settings and help->settings->reset>restart receiver and choose restart receiver. I would let the system completely start up again (until you can choose and select channels again). Then restart the receiver again (within 30 minutes), which will flush out the current program guide and perhaps solve your issue.
