Thanks for all the help. I got some time to work on it this afternoon.
First, I always keep a small level and use it to get the mast right. I went back and started over. The mast was off a fudge and I got it perfect. I check all of my coax tightness. I did still use the Align-A-Site. I started out with the tilt at 90. I immediately got a 95 on the 101 signal meter. Next, I set the tilt to 67 degrees. I double checked all of the settings. Now, when I go through all of the signal meters, here is what I got on all of them:
101 95%
99C 26%
103(CA) 24%
SWM 97%
All the rest showed nothing.
Some of these meter numbers are pretty low. THis is the main problem I have since getting here last Saturday. If I rotate the tilt far to the right, It will up the numbers on either the 99 or 103 and loose the signal on the other. I forgot which. If I rotate back left to about 40 degrees, the reverse happens. The signal numbers on the other one go up and other one looses its signal.
With the tilt set on 67 degrees, I am getting a weak signal on both the 99 and 103. But, guess what, I am able to watch nearly every channel. I do have several that are giving the 771 message. I have noticed a couple picsalating some. Its just like I have a heavy cloud overhead. I do have a perfect wide open view.
I am very confused. The dish looks perfect. When I first tested it at home several months ago, it worked perfect. Any other thoughts or suggestions.
