Well I've been a directv customer for many years but enough is enough. My question is will a "TracVision" L2/S2 receive Dish Sats.? If not what will I have to do to get Dish now. Its a 04 model ye...

Not true.
From reading the manual, it looks like the TracVision L2/S2 will work with DISH, probably a VIP211 receiver.
