I carried one of my receivers out to the MH and installed a signal viewer in line so know I'm getting Sats. However it didn't show any on the receiver. I have the 211 receivers I think. However no one has spoken up about trying this. I don't care about the HD in the RV.
If you're not interested in HD programming, then Dish's 110 satellite will probably work for you. 110 contains most of their legacy SD programming. Satellites 119 and 129 transmit the bulk of their HD programming.
Do you have a smartphone/iphone? Lotta good satellite apps that'll help you find the right satellite. There's also some good youtube videos on the subject.
Gotta know which satellite (i.e., 110) and your current location (i.e., latitude & longitude) in order to determine the correct azimuth and elevation settings for the satellite dish.
