DirecTV Troubles
Hello all,
So i finally got back to my TT after a couple weeks away and the plan was to get the Directv dish installed and setup. Well i got the dish aimed and pointed where it supposed to but every time i turn on the receiver i get the 771 error message.
i have the dish on the top of the roof, with a new quad shield RG6 running from the dish to the coax in on the back of the trailer, I took off all the winegard plates and using a coax tester figured out which wire runs to the coax in on the back of the trailer.
I connected the power supply to the wire running to the back and then connected a cable from the power supply out to the back of the receiver.
I turn on the receiver and it goes into looking for satellite mode and then eventually gives me the 771 signal loss error.
any tips? what could i be doing wrong?
