I found this but haven't tested it yet. Lots of discussion about automatic updates and Windows 10. This is suppose to give back control over that. Please post back with a review if you try it. ...

Knowing how many 'bugs' are in new programs, I have not upgraded to Windows 10 yet. I don't know if I ever will. It seems like the older versions of Windows used less memory, and as such will open quicker. Also as more users start running programs, a 'fix' or update for each glitch is developed, some updates will cause problems with other programs, and require an updated fix!
I think if I ever do upgrade to Windows 10, all the bugs should be worked out in 1 year, so a 'good' version of Win 10 will be available then, with all the updates already completed.
I still miss the screen of my last version of Windows. Now when I am scrolling side to side - I get a option to shut down the computer. This happens all to frequent, more than 3 times a minute in some cases, and many times also will change from the game that I am playing online to 'desktop'. I don't want desktop!
I also like playing games that are not online, like the microsoft preloaded game of Free Cell. They do not offer this game anymore. Sad.
