If you believe the Garmin is inaccurate, try TomTom. We have a Garmin 2797LMT which we keep current and it provides us with accurate information about 90% of the time, both using the Garmin and Cell Phone serve us well.
our experience also.
i do regular updates on our garmin, i would say it is about 90% accurate. the 10% error gap has gotten me into a couple of tight turnaround situations wife a 37ft TT
often i will have my wife use google maps ahead of time also to compare routes. overall i would say google maps is more accurate
point being. no gps sytem is 100 percent accurate.
wife has a 2017 ford explorer with built in gps that is way worse than my garmin even with wifi updates
