After receiving the most recent Sale Flyer from Camping World, we decided to make a special trip to the nearest outlet. We had 2 specific items that we wanted to buy. The road trip was approx. 45 miles from our home. Therefore, we were VERY disappointed to discover that the sales personnel seemed more interested in sales of new units than helping us with the small purchases that we wanted to place. We also discovered that the items we were interested in as advertised in the circular were not available in the store. We were told "they had not come in with the latest shipment." We will not be returning to Camping World in the future, unless it is an emergency situation. A rain check was offered but it will be easier to find the items we desire at a locally owned RV dealer or ordered from AMAZON with free shipping.

Here we go joined today to complain

With ANY store, if I am going to drive 45 minutes to get there, I will call first to make sure the product I wish to see/buy is in stock at the advertised price. Just sayin.

People would come in complaining how hard it was to find the place and how long they had been driving around looking for it and on their belt was a smart phone. They were a Google or a phone call away from directions.

Unfortunately, it has gotten more and more difficult to get someone to answer the phone at CampingWorld. We have had the same disappointing experience at several stores in three different states....even at my fave CW at Winchester, VA.

Yep. But then again I did not waste my fuel and time getting there.

Based upon observation, everyone knows that the phones more important than a real live person standing in the store with their money in hand. :W

Me too.

I worked at a store that was in a hard to find industrial park. People would come in complaining how hard it was to find the place and how long they had been driving around looking for it and on their belt was a smart phone.

They were a Google or a phone call away from directions.
