Dish Hopper 3 with Travler, and Wally with a tailgater

We are behind a tree now so we had to put out the tailgater. I always unplug whichever Dish device I’m not using but we would like to access the stuff we have recorded on our hopper. Would it hurt anything to leave both receivers plugged in and just change the source input on the RV to go back and forth.
