The Hopper has 3 tuners, the 722 has 2. When you enable PTAT, one tuner is used just for that.

To use PTAT you still have to call to change your Service Address to your current campground so you can get the local TV stations where you're camped.
PTAT will not record OTA programming you get with a batwing.
