We have Sattelite internet through Dish and I can tell you this is not a portable system to use in an RV. We get 10GB of data per month at 12MBs. After we hit the data cap we get turned down to 300KBs. It takes my kids 3 days to go through the 10GB
Dish Land line DSL for home use only, no data cap. Verizon smart phone 12g data plan, dropped Jet Pac and 3 gs. I think I got it covered. Wifi available many places while on the road, so exceeding my data will be a slimmer chance and no concerns when home. Thanks all for your input, I understand this better now. Saved a few bucks too.
