With the DTV spot beam maps we have a good idea when we'll need to switch the service address. And with our DVR we can record, skip unwanted portions of a show and time shift. Plus as we move the receiver from home to rig our recorded shows go with us.
Is this how OTA works with DirecTV? You
can't scan OTA local channels into your receiver's program guide?
