Thanks for all the tips. My problem in the past has been changing service address without changing billing address, most of the customer service reps don't understand what I am trying to do.
What I think I may try next time is just add the "All American Direct" programming when I activate my receiver (I deactivate the rv receiver when I am at home). I think you can pay partial months so the $15 wouldn't really matter. I hope by doing it that way my DVR at home would still record all of our programs while we are on the road.
