Dish network local programming
I have the tailgater from dish network and I love it. My only problem I have is getting my local networks changed when traveling. I have to call dish and tell them where I am at to get the major net...

My experience with Dish service as been fine....and quick for what you are having them change.
Once I give new local service address info. the tech comes back and tells you from what city you will be receiving local channels from. They then have said could be 10-15 minutes for the change to take place and when it does a screen comes up saying to unplug receiver for 10 seconds. After reboot the receiver reconnects and a new program guide is downloaded.
We've been moving up the Oregon coast since mid-May and only changed local service twice with 6 stops...Eugene and now Portland local channels.
Sure it takes a little time but no big deal. If someone does not care about receiving local channels when they get to a new location fine and then just use your normal service which doesn't change when you move.
Can't please everyone. Overall completely satisfied with Dish and our Tailgater. Only thing we miss is not having the TV in the bedroom work with the Tailgater but we knew that going in.
