Just depends upon how often you move and how much work you want to do to keep your DVR up-to-date. I prefer DNS even if I thought the option of calling was good. I never have to reset my DVR. It just records the DNS networks where ever I am an in the appropriate time zone. I can adjust my viewing accordingly.
Also, I move way too often to make calling worthwhile. I sometimes move 2-3 times per month and I sometimes end up in areas where there are no "locals". I would have to call 20+ times per year and I could well end up parked with no service. None of these options work so me so DNS is "my" correct choice.
That's the reason we have choices. What works for you is no good at all for me and vice versa.
