2X maybe when Dish doesn't get many calls because they don't have them they will give us something else or god forbid lower the price.

Who will you switch to when your current TV provider has their next unresolved contract dispute? Fairly recently, Direct lost The Weather Channel for three months, and TWC lost the CBS stations in some areas for a month over carriage fee contract disputes. Each service provider has carriage contracts that expire at different times, so it's not at all unusual for only one of them to lose certain channels at renewal time. The following year, a different service might lose the same channels for some period. - Bird_FreakExplorer III lost some of the Braves baseball games in 2013 and this year also. - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIYou see this happening more and more these days. Everyone wants a bigger slice of the pie i.e. more money and this is how they negotiate. The only one who loses is us but they will be back and Turner will do the same thing with DirecTV when that contract is up.
- wa8yxmExplorer IIII often wonder why they do this.. To my way of thinking the stations and networks should be paying DISH to deliver their programming instead of charging them to carry it.
- JohnG3Explorer IIWon't miss anything Turner puts out.
- WyoTravelerExplorerDoubt I'll miss the channels. Maybe Dish will pick up some new channels. CNN runs a lot of specials lately and not much news.
- brireneExplorerReally doesn't bother me since I rarely watch any of those. I do pay for them though. Wonder if I'll get reimbursed? :)
