Hi, I have a leased 222K Dish receiver that I want to move from my house (dont use this anymore at home) to my RV, and change the billing from home service to RV service.
If you had just told Dish that your billing address is still your home but you wanted to use it in your RV as well, you would not have run into this problem) Dosen't make sense but thats Dish:):)
I was told by Dish today that I cannot do this, even though for years I can carried out to the MH for trips and all works great. They claim I have to send this 222K back, and then purchase one. In other words, a leased 222k doesn't qualify for RV Dish service, even though technically it works. Has anyone gotten past this have to "buy the receiver" for RV Dish services?" Does Direct TV have the same policy? Thanks!
Order a 722DVR which is the latest up grade which will allow you to record movies from Dish. They will take your 222k receiver and send you the 722DVR. You will be charged $5 per month for the lease charge. There should be no charge for the 722 but rather just an exchange.
