The 1000.4 dish does not need a different arm to use a 1000.4 western arc LNBF. Only the LNBF needs to be changed.
Dutch, you are right but is is so much easier to have the extra arm. That way you leave the short coax connected to the LNBF and remove the two 1/4 x 20 1/2" bolts as opposed to one arm and removing two screws and two small bolts/nuts. 3X as fast my way. :)
