Dish or Direct or nothing
Some campgrounds only have a few stations, whether cable or not. Do you suggest dish or Direct TV service. Winegard came with unit so it wouldn't be difficult to add. We don't want to install either a...

And I guess you have not encountered one, but there are places that do not have OTA signals and do not have cable either.
most all of the campgrounds I frequent have at least cable. I did use the term "consistently". obviously if there is no cable, no OTA signals, and I don't have my dish with me I do with out TV.
but the question was "why do you need more than that". my answer was/is cause standard OTA TV has little programing that I am interested in.
