I have been on the road full time over 6 years now. I have never been without TV reception.
No I don't boondock in the desert out west were there might not be reception!:B
That said IMHO, JMHO that if you are a boondocker I would 'assume' you do so because you love the remote outdoors and wouldn't want to be stuck in the RV watching streaming movies!! :W:W
Sorry I just don't see the need to have a costly full entertainment package inside the RV to watch 24 7's.
ESPECIALLY if you have kids. One would think you would want to get them outdoors and enjoy nature and being together as a family doing activities while RV'ing and away from all the droning brain sucking electronics. Just saying!
I digress, I am starting to sound like my parents. :B
