DISH Pay as you GO

We've had DishNetwork for years.....over 15 yrs. We travel with our own sat. dish and we rent the "mobile receiver" (my name for it) for $5.00 a month. We love DishNetwork....had thought at one time to change but the channels we want are in a more expensive package at DirecTv. I DO recommend going to your local dealer and getting set up rather than using the online or phone service. :)

I have DirecTV at home and took one box with me on the road. I used an old foldup dish that they don't make any more. I got sick of moving the box back and forth so I bought a VIP211 for Dish. I turned it on aimed the same dish that I used for DirecTv. When I got a signal I called dish and asked for the cheepest thing they had just to see if it worked. I think it was $19.00 for the first month. I have used it a few times since then, the last time it was about $50 for a month and there more stations then we need. $25 or $30 a month is better then moving the box in and out of the house.

We just moved from Comcast to Dish at home and got the tailgater as an add on for the coach. installation was free. but we must now re-wire the coach because the RG cable in the coach is shorted.
