If you have to put it out a way from your camper, and you don't want it under trees because trees block the signal, ... well... any other suggestions?
I was think of a dog cork-screw stake in the ground with a cable cable and pad lock. At lest if kids wanted to fool around, they have to unscrew the dog cork screw? any further thoughts?
As others have said, I also use a light cable and padlock to attach to stabilizers, picnic table, trees, etc. I carry 150' of cable for boondocking in the mountains. If I'm not able to secure the dish, I just pick it up and put it inside the trailer when I leave. With such easy setup, it doesn't matter. If I'm in a tricky area shooting between trees, I mark the spot with a rock or limb.
