I use a 50' chain from tailgator to something solid. I also drive a metal rod into the ground and velcro the handle to it to prevent wind from disturbing it. It also gives the unit enough stability to run the chain thru the big handle on the tailgator. Still nothing that bolt cutters or a saw could not overcome, but makes it a bit less likely to walk away.
I also give the satellite finder I used when we fulltimed a quick glance to see if the location will work.
