I questioned the clerk and they said it depended on your bank or card carrier. That some of them are slower than others at doing it. You would think with today's technology, that it would be same day.
I often run into that when staying at hotels. It a common policy and I expect it. I never run into this situation until now when buying something on line. Hopefully the duplicate charge will be canceled by tomorrow. That will be day four.
