I use Tire Rack.

I use the same size. I purchased five Goodyear Marathon tires on painted wheels from Trailer Parts Superstore last year. Good price, good fresh tires and prompt shipping.

I just purchased a set of 4 Goodyear Endurance tires from Discount tire and another set of 4 Towmax from Automotive Specialist (tid99) on ebay. Had a local tire dealer mount and balance them along with new metal valve stems.

Both sets were 225-75-15 load range E or 10 ply

Personally, I prefer to buy from a local business as that keeps money in my community and I have someone to go to if there’s a problem.

Sure they are cheaper on line. Add to the on line price the cost of mounting, balancing, valve stems, and tire disposal fees, (and maybe shipping costs as well) and you may find buying retail is cheaper.

There are two garages near me that mount and balance for less than $10 per tire. My garbage service will take one tire per week saving the disposal fee. I buy some tires online and the rest from a dealer in Delaware where there is no sales tax.

About the same here. It cost me $15. a tire for mount and balance and I always have people who want my old tires. No sales tax is what saves me money on line since KS has a 9 percent sales tax. Sales tax just raised to pay for the tax exemption they gave to small business owners. Never had a online tire retailer charge me for shipping.
