It's not life or death but it might a real inconvenience be for some. I never said it was a double charge. The point is if you have $1000 in your bank account and you place an order with Camping World for $500, they pre-authorize a $500 charge. If they ship it within a day or two they don't use the pre-authorization, they charge you $500 again. Now you have the $500 charge and you still have the pre-authorization of $500 which means you have available $0 in your account until the bank frees up the $500 pre-authorization. This can take several days. I don't know of any other on-line retailer that does this.
