DTV no Reception?

I just got home and turned the TV on in the stick house.

This one is powered by one of the little boxes with the Genie system.

So I get a (actually nothing/black screen) on the house TV after the HDMI 1 window disappears..

Unplug the TV for a while, reset the box. Still nothing. Call the DTV Tech And no joy.

So I go out to the RV and pack the TV from there into the house. I stick the HDMI cable from the back of the stick home TV into the RV TV and walla all is well.

So what do you all think I should do to the stick home TV before deep sixing it.

It is a dumb flat screen 50" Panasonic.
