WoW! Thanks for all the help! While I was waiting for feedback. For reference we have a 2010 Laredo 316RL 5er. I Googled and also found a possibility. What about a 1500w inverter hooked through a automatic transfer switch to the "converter". If I understand, that would give me inverter power(120v) to the rv when not hooked to shore (120). That would require connecting the inverter to the battery bank, connecting the inverter to the transfer switch, then connecting the transfer switch to the rv converter? One question though is when the not hooked to shore power I would always be running 120v on all lights or would the converter just send 120 to the outlets and appliances only? And the inverter would also always be drawing power from the batteries?
