DW and I spend two winter months a year in the Arizona desert. Prior to Kindle, we would spend the preceding ten months buying paperbacks at thrift stores so we would have some reading material whilst down there. This resulted in us taking many Walmart bags filled with books along with us, taking up space that could be put to better use. Now we spend the year filling our Kindles with hundreds of books, mostly free, that take up less space than one book.
One year, while in AZ, DW's Kindle stopped working. I contacted Amazon (it was still under warranty) and they overnighted a new one already configured with all the material that was on the defective one. In addition, it was a newer model as DW's had been discontinued. To top it off, they emailed a return label so I could return it to them free of charge.
