- SCClockDrExplorerIf your request is about the hardware XDA Developers Kindle Fire newer versions. If you are asking about the book file format I am clueless.
- Robert78121ExplorerI'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but with my Kindle reader (I've got the cheap one) I upload MOBI files to it for reading. You can use a program like Calibre to convert files for use on Kindle devices. It's a good free e-book management software utility.
- monkey44Nomad III'm talking about anyone that can answer questions about how to install an e-book on the Amazon site.
Not the method, but about the actual installation guide to publishing a book there, is anyone proficient in their software requirements, the formatting? - TrackrigExplorer IIThe Amazon Kindle help forum might have the answer. I don't know if you have to be an Amazon member to access it.

I had a phone number that I've used to talk to them, but I can't find it at the moment. If I find it, I'll post it.

I've published three books using Amazon Kindle, including one non fiction, and two fiction novels. My two novels hit the Amazon top 100 best sellers list and stayed there for two weeks.
I'm currently working on my third novel.
What I've learned from writing and publishing these books is formatting for Kindle is easy if writing fiction. With non fiction, especially if you include photos, it is a bit more difficult.
Regardless of the type of book, I write using the free OpenOffice Writer (or Libre Office Writer) software, which I find easier to use than MS Word.
For formatting novels, I created a OpenOffice Writer template, which is optimized for Kindle formatting. With the template, you just write your novel, and then upload to Amazon.
You can find this template and a video showing how to use it at http://www.bmyers.com/public/Free_readytouse_template_for_writing_Kindle_Novels.cfm
I've also written many other how-to-publish articles with tutorial videos, and you can find them all at http://www.bmyers.com/members/department78.cfm
Bill - mikestockExplorerI guess I'm not really sure about what you are asking but will say that you can take any free publication without DRM and use Calibre, as Robert78121 said, to convert it to Mobi(pocket) file format. Then you use your PC to drag the Mobi file to "documents" under Kindle.
If you buy the book from Amazon it will download to everyone on your account without any conversion.
