Yes you can get HD DirecTv on two TVs. We have a Winegard on the roof but used a portable dish before that. You just need a DirecTv splitter. We have the Genie on both our TVs. Only the main TV has the DVR though we have whole house viewing so we can watch DVR'd programs in the bedroom.
