Thanks all. I knew some of this stuff, but had forgotten it. Need to make myself a computer "how to" file. In defense of FrankShore, I have copied his whole piece into my "how to" file. I did uninstall all Java and Adobe files. Some of it I probably don't know how to do. Think the most valuable thing I did was go to All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup and did a cleanup. Knew in the past to do this but had forgotten it.
