Exit Now Interstate Exit Directory

Was the Exit Now Interstate Directory 2013 ever published? We never could find one and purchased The Next Exit 2013 and really, really don't like it at all. Is there going to ever be another Exit Now Directory? We had so much trouble flipping pages as we traveled that we absolutely won't waste our money on "The Next Exit" ever again.

Hope someone can give me good news on this because we really would like a new Exit Now for 2014. Thanks!

  • I should have explained the format of Exit Now - it is arranged by Interstate number not by State. This means as you leave I-80 in Nebraska going West into Wyoming you don't need to flip to the "W" section for Wyoming. I guess no big deal to some of you, but my old copy of Exit Now was spiral bound and following each Interstate was so easy and the book actually had the listings in a better format as well. I was hoping someone from Good Sam would answer since they (or Trailer Life) originally printed this directory a few years ago.

Exit Now was published by Trailer Life Publications and was much better then the next exit. I think 2011 was the last year it was published. One thing was you don't have to look for a new page every time you cross a state line. It would stay on the road you were on. I think they were all spiral bound.

that could be an issue when you live in new england, etc., with states the size of postage stamps, but driving 400 miles across Iowa or 900??? across Texas, it is not too much of an imposition. flipping pages does interfere with me texting while driving however.

I think what the OP is referring to is one is hard bound and one is on rings. The one on rings is much easier to use as you can fold the book over to stay on the page.

mine is soft cover but "bound". we use it with "tremendous" difficulty (that is sarcasm) but have not seen one with rings. yes that would be easier.

  • don't quite understand your complaint. yes, when you change states you have to "flip" a page or two. doesn't seem to me to be to big a burden.
