Experience with Carbonite? Other choices.
I'm considering Carbonite to back up images and other computer files. Advertising and websites always look good. Would appreciate any eperiences and if there are other choices that are available. Thanks!

I simply use a couple of 1TB external hard drives and have for many years, so I know where my files are and what they are being used for.- I have a 2TB external hard drive and use Acronis True Image to make scheduled backup images to the drive. No need for an internet connection to backup or recover data, nor any concern about cloud security. Of course if the house burns down....

- Hello, been using Carbonite for past 4 years. Very good. I use it for my business and personal needs. Backups are automatic and downloads of files to my equipment is flawless. Used it both in USA and on business in China. Price is also very good for the service. :)
