External laptop coolers
I have a ACER net book laptop with windows 10 and 6 GB of ram and intel 877 processor that the fan runs all the time but the laptop runs warm not hot. Do you think a external fan is needed ? it's not ...

Yes the external fans do work. DW uses an external fan on her Acer laptop. Her external fan is called "Connectland accessory". It plugs into a USB port. Her Acer has always overheated when purchased new.

Called a laptop but funny DW dancing around in a chair with her Acer laptop on her lap :B. I have a Lenovo and doesn't get nearly as warm. I'm sure you are right though, probably not really needed.
