This is NOT true! All the "Ad" means is that Amazon paid Google to place it at the top of the list.

Exactly. An ad is not an indication of a scam website. It is just that, an ad through Google Adwords. You will find them on every Google search either at the top of the search results or in the margin. Yes there can be scams that slip through Googles ad filters but they are generally taken down quickly. There is always a risk when you click on any link.
