The only downside I've found with the UMX 240C hotspot that Straight Talk uses is the lack of an antenna port. If you have a cradle style amplifier though, that's not an issue. Well, the only downside other than being 3G only of course. :W
Wouldn't 3G still be better than what most campgrounds put out?
Also by having a Wilson type amplifier/cradle will it help the signal strength of the hotspot and phone. We have stayed in a few CG's where our phone would not pick up a signal, but our neighbor could with a Wilson setup.
