Finding the Missing Cursor

Sometimes I'll accidentally knock the mouse cursor off of the screen on my laptop, and it often proves difficult to find it again. Back in the days of Windows XP, I used to hit the ctrl key to find it, but that trick doesn't work in my Windows 10 Pro machine. Is there any way that I can locate a missing cursor using a different method? Thanks.

    instead of a reboot try a logoff/logon.
