Finish Your Order & Get $5 Off Orders Over $50! BOGUS!!

I was shopping online on Camping World last night and left a few items in the cart. This morning Camping World sent me an email saying if I finish my order I would get $5 off my order by using a discount code provided in the email. Well, I was going to check out and the code doesn't work.

I contacted live support via chat and Adrian states I can't use the code online. He/She said I had to mail the coupon in to get the $5. Now, this is NOT stated anywhere on the email about mailing this in. To me this is misleading and bogus if you send me an email to use a discount code to FINISH my order to receive an additional $5 off. It's not about the $5 but the principle of the situation.

No wonder there are so many people complaining about Camping World on this site.

    I actually just had this happen to me too, though I didn't get so far as to complain via the customer support line. The fine print on the coupon says, clearly, that it is not good in stores. .. but also that the cupon must be presented at time of purchase. I spent plenty on a couple of orders & was disappointed that the 'incentive' was fake.

    (Just bought a 2013 Sundance 3300ck, with a 2013 Ram 3500 diesel 4WD TV)

    I posted this over two weeks ago and still nothing from Camping World/Good Sam.

    Thank you for the follow up post. We received a private message on 6/22/2016 regarding a resolution to the issue. We have sent the merchandise certificate and are working on the issue with the 5.00 off code you mentioned in the original post to elevate future issues.
