So is it safe to assume the password manager outfits have read said report and are closing the holes even as I type. if not already closed?
Sadly there is a war on,, On one side we have criminals who are trying to break in to places like the ones mentioned in this article, and your local bank, and so on,
On the other side we have security experts. SOME of which are also trying to break in but these do not even so much as a "Kiljoy was here" (I changed the name) they report to the company "We found a flaw" along with details so the company can fix it.. they also write articles like the one in the PDF linked to above.
