NO consumer (Government plans excepted) Verizon data plan is an unlimited data plan but this one is even worse than their normal "limited" unlimited plan but it does give you 25GB before throttle instead of the 15GB currently offered. The difference is what happens after you reach that limit. The FMCA plans says you will be "hard" throttled to somewhere between dial up and 2G! The Verizon customer Verizon unlimited plans says you will enter a Network Optimization plan which may or may not have any effect on your speeds.
I almost bit since I MUST have cellular data plan and I must have enough for me, the wife, the TV's and all the phone updates (to keep phone data as low as possible) but I am going to see if my AT&T Mobley will keep performing as well as it has been for just $20/month. I really thought I needed more than what the Mobley offered but I rarely use my Sprint MiFi as the service is rarely usable. So, the plan is to cancel Sprint, save $46/month use the Mobley and, if necessary, up the Verizon data from time to time and use that as a hotspot as well. I don't foresee that being necessary unless something really weird happens as I also have a WiFi booster that allows me to suck up some free data when that happens to be available.
