Free Upgrade to Window's 10?
Got an e-mail from Microsoft saying I can sign up for a free upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1. Anybody else got the e-mail? Are you signing up or are you waiting to see how it all shakes out...

I got the upgrade notification on 2 of my 3 Win 7 machines and registered for the upgrade on the two that allowed me. I believe MS is trying to save some customers after many complained about their 8.x experience. I'm going to upgrade a laptop and a desktop after the July 29 roll out and see how they perform.
If you have a genuine version of Win 7 (with SP 1) or 8, you should get an upgrade notification on your task bar at some point.
